About the event

Worldwide Documentaries presents a special screening event of Running To Stand Still-Migrants Search For Hope In The Promised Land (25 mins).

Running To Stand Still puts a human face on the world’s immigrant and migrant communities, and depicts the human toll current U.S. immigration policies are taking on children and families in the United States. The purpose of Running To Stand Still is to encourage dialogue, educate the public about the injustices of our current system, and identify pathways to humane immigration reform.

The screening will take place on Monday, December 8th from 7:00-9:30 PM at the Dryden Theatre. The event will begin with the film screening and be followed by the premiere of a short video designed to specifically address the current realities facing our refugee and migrant populations in Rochester and the surrounding communities. The event will conclude with an engaging town hall style meeting with leaders from the community.

Admission is free, but…
