About the event
Worldwide Documentaries presents the national premiere of the updated version of Running To Stand Still-Migrants Search For Hope In The Promised Land (25 mins).
In this new updated version of Running To Stand Still, the film puts a human face on the world’s immigrant and migrant communities, and depicts the human toll current U.S. immigration policies are taking on children and families in the United States. The purpose of Running To Stand Still is to encourage dialogue, educate the public about the injustices of our current system, and identify pathways to humane immigration reform.
The premiere will take place on Monday, December 8th from 7:00-9:30 PM at the Dryden Theatre. The event will begin with the film screening and be followed directly by a town hall meeting with leaders from the community.
Admission is free, but space is limited. Registration RSVP is required to attend.
