GLOBAL REFUGE - LEGAL SERVICES
Global Refuge Legal Services team has created a suite of resources to help newcomers and social service providers understand policy changes under the new administration. Their resource hub offers up-to-date guidance on SIV status, humanitarian parole, TPS, and more.
HAITIAN BRIDGE ALLIANCE
The Haitian Bridge Alliance is a grassroots nonprofit community organization that advocates for fair and humane immigration policies and provides migrants and immigrants with humanitarian, legal, and social services, with a particular focus on Black people, the Haitian community, women and girls, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and survivors of torture and other human rights abuses.
HOPE BORDER INSTITUTE
The Hope Border Institute (HOPE) brings the perspective of Catholic social teaching to bear on the realities unique to our US-Mexico border region. Through a robust program of research and policy work, leadership development and action, we work to build justice and deepen solidarity across the borderlands. HOPE brings together local leaders, communities of faith, advocates and policymakers to create transformational change and build solidarity across borders.
HUMAN RIGHTS FIRST
Established in 1978, Human Rights First's mission is to ensure that the United States is a global leader on human rights. The organization works in the United States and abroad to promote respect for human rights and the rule of law.
IMMIGRANT LEGAL RESOURCE CENTER
This packet from Immigrant Legal Resource Center will help everyone create a Family Preparedness Plan, regardless of immigration status. However, because of the additional challenges immigrant and mixed status
families face, also offer additional advice for immigrants.
Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international Catholic organization with a mission to accompany, serve, and advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced persons, that they may heal, learn, and determine their own future. Their work expresses the commitment of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) to stand with refugees around the world. Programs are currently found in 58 countries, serving people in conflict zones and detention centers, on remote borders and in busy cities.
JRS run pastoral care and community support programs and provide humanitarian relief in emergency displacement situations. Their education and livelihoods programs provide skill development and opportunities for integration into host communities.
JRS/USA is the American country office, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Washington, DC. They also serve displaced people through the Detention Chaplaincy Program and Caminar Contigo. Within Caminar Contigo is the Migrant Accompaniment Network, which engages volunteers across the US to assist forcibly displaced people who have arrived in their communities.
JUSTICE FOR IMMIGRANTS
In 2004, the Catholic bishops of the United States committed to immigration reform as a priority of the U.S. Catholic Church, and to creating a culture of welcome in which all migrants are treated with respect and dignity. A diverse group of Catholic organizations with national networks joined the U.S. Catholic bishops’ Justice for Immigrants Campaign (JFI) in an effort to unite and mobilize a growing network of Catholic institutions, individuals, and other persons of goodwill in support of immigration reform.
PHYSICIANS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS
Amidst the recent U.S. administration’s crackdown on immigrants and asylum seekers, PHR also researches and calls attention to the catastrophic human toll of U.S. immigration policies and advocates for the United States to honor its obligations under domestic and international human rights law.

CALLED TO CARE, CANANDAIGUA
Called to Care, Canandaigua is an all-volunteer organization that welcomes refugees and other displaced persons with open arms and provides a support network to help families start a new life in America. It provides housing, transportation, clothing, food, medical care, and household items during their first months and assists families with school or language class enrollment and work authorization applications.
CATHOLIC CHARITIES FAMILY & COMMUNITY SERVICES
As a member of the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester, Catholic Charities Family & Community Services advocates for those in need throughout every stage of life and works in partnership with others who are committed to addressing local needs.
Church World Service (CWS) Rochester is committed to welcoming refugees and supporting them in integrating and thriving in their new community. CWS Rochester provides Reception and Placement resettlement services to newly arrived individuals and families. These services provide clients with the opportunity to reach their full potential in the United States.

DEAF REFUGEE ADVOCACY
We recognize that deaf refugees, asylum-seekers, immigrants, and those from US territories have unique needs that are best served and assisted by the members of the general Deaf community. We help both long-time and newly resettled Deaf people become independent and adjusted to life in USA through a variety of programs and classes. We also work as advocates for their needs, especially as liaisons with other agencies and service providers.

IBERO - AMERICAN ACTION LEAGUE, INC. MIGRANT SERVICES
IBERO- American Action League, Inc. Migrant Services' goal is to help asylum seekers integrate well as they relocate their families within Monroe and Albany Counties.
LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF ROCHESTER
Legal Aid Society of Rochester's Immigration Unit provides legal representation, advice and information on various immigration matters to non-citizen community members and their families. It seeks to vigorously defend the individual rights of clients and ensure that they are treated with dignity, equality and respect. In addition, it represents those fleeing persecution in their home country and seeking protection in the United States.
NY IMMIGRATION COALITION
The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) is an umbrella policy & advocacy organization that represents over 200 immigrant and refugee rights groups throughout New York.
The NYIC serves one of the largest and most diverse newcomer populations in the United States. The multi-racial and multi-sector NYIC membership base includes grassroots and nonprofit community organizations, religious and academic institutions, labor unions, as well as legal and socioeconomic justice organizations. The NYIC not only establishes a forum for immigrant groups to voice their concerns, but also provides a platform for collective action to drive positive social change.
RAPID RESPONSE ROCHESTER
Rapid Response Rochester (RRRN) is a Rochester-area mutual aid group formed to support immigrants facing detention or deportation by engaging in community-based strategic actions and public education guided by directly affected immigrant families.
REFUGEES HELPING REFUGEES
Refugees Helping Refugees (RHR) serves refugees of Western New York, fostering growth, self-determination, and self-reliance by making them agents of their own advancement.
ROCHESTER REFUGE RESETTLEMENT SERVICES
Collaborating to provide services and opportunities to ensure assimilation of refugees into our society by providing assistance as they strive to be self-sustaining neighbors while still maintaining their own cultural heritage.
THE WORKER JUSTICE CENTER
The Worker Justice Center of New York pursues justice for those denied human rights with a focus on agricultural and other low wage workers, through legal representation, community empowerment and advocacy for institutional change.
